About us
For half a century, our passion has been to support people in Coventry and Warwickshire to secure their own home and be part of a community.
Operating as a high-quality landlord, Coventry Cyrenians provide more supported housing for single homeless people than any other local agency – 130 places in shared houses, female-only accommodation, and in some individual units with communal spaces. Find out more in this leaflet.
We offer our accommodation to people who are homeless and vulnerably housed. They face a range of challenges, including debt/money management issues, social isolation, addiction, poor work history, low educational attainment and the effects of domestic violence.
Those problems are experienced by many people, but the people we support often have more than two or three of those problems to cope with at a time. They come from services such as probation, care leavers, migration, mental health or just have not had the best start in life and struggle to manage complexity.
Our aim is to give them not just a roof, but also the support they need to live independently in future. Learn more about our work.
We don’t think we have all the answers. As people’s needs change, we adapt to ensure that we are better able to connect people to their wider community.
We can’t do this alone, so we have joined various local networks and work with other agencies, statutory and voluntary, to support people to solve these more complex problems.
As a small independent charity, we’re always looking for the resources to continue our work. We’re always grateful to receive support from individuals or businesses.
