Coventry Cyrenians Ltd are now officially 50 years old! The first of the celebrations took place at the Central Hall where staff, volunteers & ex-service users gathered for a buffet & cake. A display board of various archive material showed how far the charity had come through the decades, providing services to the homeless from 1973 to 2023. We also took the opportunity to recognise our Long Service Volunteers, Matt Cattell (7 years), Shelagh Williams (10 years) and Graham Cole (14 years). Chief Executive, Caron Williams presented them with an engraved trophy, certificate and a £50 voucher to show our gratitude for their continued commitment. There will be various other events happening throughout our 50th year to raise funds.
