CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR TRAINING FOR SERVICE SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

On the 20th & 31st August, we held Challenging Behavour Training sessions for our Service Support Assistant Volunteers.  This was run by Izzy Hawkins (Operations Manager).

Working on the Reception at Oakwood House is one of the most demanding jobs within the organisation.  Service Support Assistant Volunteers are the first point of contact for members of the public, clients and other agencies/organisations.

There are many reasons why they may be faced with challenging situations and the aim is to give them the skills and understanding to handle situations with the minimal amount of stress to themselves as we want their experience of volunteering with Cyrenians to be an enjoyable one.
