In December 2013 we learned that a consortium of existing providers, which included Cyrenians, had been unsuccessful in a competitive tendering process for a Local Authority contract incorporating all of the adult homelessness services in Coventry. The Coventry Half Marathon took place on Sunday 23rd March 2014. Many thanks to all the runners who braved the cold damp weather, and all those who sponsored them to raise money for Cyrenians. Our stall was held outside the Coventry Transport Museum and we were delighted that the Lord Mayor, Councillor Gary Crookes and his wife, Lady Mayoress Shirley Crookes made time to stop and talk to our volunteers and staff.
